Computer Disposals Ltd (CDL) is an IT lifecycle management and data destruction business that provides enterprise-level services to organisations throughout the UK.

Its customers feature some big names, including heavy hitters such as NHS trusts, the Ministry of Defence, universities and local councils, and blue chip financial services businesses.

BANC worked with CDL, and its acquiring partner business Restore PLC, for 4+ years. In that time, we made sure to outperform against all targets and KPIs year-on-year.

What the client thought they wanted

With their business growing, CDL were looking to move away from their original SME target market.

With their sights set on more profitable contracts with public sector and blue chip organisations, they had ambitious growth targets that needed meeting, too. They came to us to make sure that happened.

What we realised they needed

CDL’s journey towards digital transformation called for a roadmap to help get them where they wanted to be.

Through this, we’d be able to help them expand from the North West and start generating leads across the entire country.

We then aimed to shift their proposition up the value chain towards the larger and more profitable contract customers they wanted to start targeting.

What we did for them

A Digital Discovery Audit gave us what we needed to think more like CDL and put ourselves in their customers’ shoes.

We then put a full Digital Marketing strategy into action across their SEO, Content Marketing, Digital PR, PPC and CRO – a comprehensive approach that meant no aspects of their digital activity went unturned.

Thanks to the audit, we also designed a new website for them, one that was matched to and informed by the insights we’d gleaned about CDL’s audience.

By stepping up activity across each of their channels, we drove new customers and growth in phases, and inline with key milestones that the business’ commercial plan had laid out.
