About the role
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and talented Senior Paid Media executive to take up a key role within our team; who has a love for all things Paid, and a drive to work with clients to help them achieve their business goals.
The ideal candidate will have experience across Google ASds campaign management – and be well-versed in how to utilise different strategies successfully to drive positive performance against client KPIs. This role would suit a Paid Media professional with at least a couple of years’ experience, who is looking to gain more ownership of accounts and work across a variety of industries, channels and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Directly managing a selection of client accounts across Search, Shopping, Display, and Social channels.
- Creating personalised account project plans, budget recommendations and reports to drive value to the account.
- Work closely with clients, to ensure the account actions, strategy and recommendations align with the core focus for their business.
- Monitoring performance within client accounts and providing analysis and investigation.
- Ensuring correct tracking and attribution are in place for Paid Media activity – and taking responsibility for adding this where required.
- Attending weekly calls and updating clients on progress, performance and ongoing account activity.
- Closely managing and monitoring media budgets across the client base and conducting month-end reconciliation and administration.
- Taking an active role in your own personal development – identifying knowledge gaps and supporting skill diffusion within the team.
- Acting as a role model and champion for the Paid Media team both internally and externally – continually suggesting new ideas and improvements to enhance our product and benefit client performance.
- Representing the team within our strategy review process; sharing performance information, opportunities and working with other channel teams to ensure alignment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience managing Google Ads campaigns – either in an agency or in-house. Additional platform experience is a bonus.
- Has proven experience of owning account optimisations, report writing and performance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain Paid Media technical actions in a way that resonates with all audiences.
- An understanding of all Paid Social, and how it works with Google Ads.
- Some understanding of digital marketing practices across B2C and B2B business models, and how they differ.
- An analytical thinker who is highly organised, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills – comfortable using a range of formulas (you know your VLOOKUPs from your SUMIFs).
- A ‘can-do’ attitude and ambition to continually step outside your comfort zone, trial new ideas and embrace different ways of working.
