About the role
We’re on the lookout for Senior Content & Digital PR Executive to join our integrated Digital Marketing team in Manchester. Working across a diverse array of clients spanning Automotive, Software, Business Services and more – you’ll have a head for strategy, a diligent and well-organised approach to client work, and a strong creative inclination to boot.
If you have a couple of years’ experience in Content Marketing and the desire to broaden your skillset and take full ownership of client strategies and campaigns, we want to hear from you. With the support of our team, you’ll drive outstanding Organic results for your client list, gain greater exposure to other disciplines, and foster a deep appreciation for where your channel fits in the broader campaign mix.
You’ll demonstrate a passion for continuous learning and improvement, and have the opportunity to collaborate closely with Copywriters, Designers, and other Digital Marketing specialists – meaning excellent communication and teamwork skills are a must.
Responsibilities
- Manage a range of client campaigns across Content Marketing and Digital PR – taking ownership of the strategy and direction (with plenty of support from our leadership team)
- Produce strategy documentation for your clients, including quarterly plans, content audits, competitor analysis, research pieces and monthly reports
- Brief and manage the end-to-end production of collateral with our Copywriting and Creative teams, ensuring work is delivered on-brief and on-schedule
- Demonstrate a strong awareness of SEO theory, using keyword research to inform your content planning across the customer journey
- Lead and contribute to Digital PR ideation sessions, taking responsibility for campaign idea decision-making
- Carry out research, data gathering, media list building and pitching for Digital PR campaigns, producing positive offsite results for your clients
- Monitor journalist requests, and the news agenda in your client industries – finding opportunities for reactive PR campaigns and placements
- Monitor and track billable time for internal use across your clients
- Assist the Client Services team, attending and presenting in client meetings, and providing documentation and commentary as required
- Conducting and monitoring keyword research to inform content strategy
Requirements
- Experience managing Content Marketing and/or Digital PR campaigns end-to-end
- A good awareness of SEO theory and best practice, and what it means for Content Marketing success
- Experience working across both B2C and B2B clients or settings (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- First-class project planning and organisational skills, with the ability to spin plates
- Experience briefing detailed content and design briefs for other teams
- Experience using a project management tool like Jira, Basecamp or Monday
- Experience using analysis and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMRush)
- Experience using PR tools like BuzzStream, ResponseSource and MuckRack (or similar)
- A can-do attitude and willingness to participate – stepping outside your comfort zone to trial new ideas and ways of working
