About the role
BANC is seeking a creative, adaptable, well-organised Junior Content Marketing & Technical SEO Executive to join our expanding digital marketing team. In this hybrid role, you’ll play a key part across the content marketing and technical divisions of the business, in executing Content Marketing, Digital PR and Technical SEO strategy outputs, working closely with the wider team to deliver results for our clients across a range of industries.
This is a junior-level role, though the successful candidate will ideally have some knowledge of or experience in Content Marketing, Technical SEO, or a related discipline. This role will suit someone who is committed and passionate about developing a career in Content Marketing & Technical SEO here at BANC and will be supported in doing so with guidance and mentorship from our experienced team members.

Responsibilities
- Assisting the team with a variety of Content Marketing campaign management tasks: research and ideation, competitive analysis, content audits and campaign briefs.
- Supporting the team with technical audits and subsequent implementation work, for example: image optimisations, redirects and metadata optimisation.
- Assisting the wider team in optimising a range of listings and feeds for clients, for example Google Business Profile and Google Merchant Centre.
- Working on content health projects such as content pruning reviews, content audits and internal link reviews, as well as the implementation of the outputs.
- Supporting the team across monthly reporting and campaign measurement tasks.
- Working with wider team members on digital PR strategy tasks, such as research and ideation, media contact list building, data gathering, pitch-writing and outreach and building relations with journalists.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices across SEO, Content Marketing & Digital PR.
- Conducting keyword research and providing recommendations for content and technical optimisations.
- Using a range of content management systems (WordPress, Contentful, etc.).
- Utilising software such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Google Data Studio, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Jira and Trello to support your day-to-day.
- Creating detailed briefs for our Copywriting and Creative teams, and ensuring work is delivered on-brief and on-schedule.
- Monitoring journalist requests and client news agendas, and feeding reactive media placement opportunities and ideas into the wider team.
Requirements
- Some experience of technical SEO, content marketing, digital marketing or a related discipline and the desire to develop a career in this field
- Comfortable in learning how to use a range of different systems and tools and having this as part of your day-to-day
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Interest in SEO and how this complements Content Marketing and Digital PR activity
- Highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
